About the Midwife
"Birth is a rite of passage and an initiation into parenthood that holds healing potential for the birthing parent, family, community and world. I am honored to be present in this sacred, powerful and challenging event."
Jennifer Olliges, Midwife, Lactation Consultant
Jennifer is a Licensed Midwife, Certified Professional Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, in practice for over fifteen years. She received a Bachelors of Arts in biology from Bellarmine University in 2003. She completed the three year midwifery program at Maternidad La Luz, a high volume, freestanding birth center on the border of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. It was there she established her practice as a midwife, clinical preceptor and academic educator for over seven years.
